I just purchased ghost 12 to use with my Vista system. I'm looking to Ghost C: to E:
Both drives are idential drives. I'm looking to keep an exact clone of C: from time to time.
Within Ghost, you select Tools, then "copy my hard drive"
C is the source, E is the destination.
The problem is this error message: "this operation cannot be performed while windows is running. you must complete this operation inside the recovery environment.
When you click on OK, nothing at all happens. Nothing backs up.
There are no further instructions within help or on symantec's web site.
The whole reason I purchased the Ghost 12 is because it is supposed to be Vista friendly and I need to make an occasional complete backup of my drive.
How to resolve?
