Question

recover data from a v2i file

After some serious problems I now have a v2i file from Ghost 12.0 and no other files I can see that are related to it. When I try to recover the data I get - "Error ED800018: The image file 'C:\D Drive BU from old MOBO\Screamer_D_Drive001.v2i' was not found."

Explorer shows a 605,440 KB file there.

What now??

Did you search your hard drive for *.v2i files?  To recover they all need to be in the same folder.

You can also try opening the Ghost-explorer program and see if it will open the image and let you recover any files/folders.

Or also you can open Ghost 12 and look at the "status" section and see when the last successful backup was taken and any errors.

I have the same issue with not having 5 image disks and not being able to open them. Could you let me know what you did to be able to open the requested files? Thanks
