Download R149798 from http://support.dell.com/support/downloads/driverslist.aspx?c=us&l=en&s=gen&ServiceTag=&SystemID=PLX_PNT_320&os=WW1&osl=en&catid=&impid=

Copy ..\DOS\NDIS2\B44.dos to ..\NET\ Directory
Open Protocol.ini
Append the following to the end

[B44]
DriverName = B44$

Follow my instructions in the last post to get the Dev ID using "pciscan -v"

Append the following to your netcard.map file

ret="b44"
ven=14e4 "BroadCom"
dev=XXXX "Dell Optiplex 320 Broadcom NIC"

(where XXXX = Dev ID)

That's it, it should work

Cheers

Everything looks ok there

Can you verify the B44.dos file is:

- In the NET Directory
- Named B44.dos (Note the UpperCase B this can sometimes cause issues)
- 55kb in Size
- Dated 16/12/2005

If all the above is true can you download R127295 it's an earlier version of the driver the files will be exactly the same, however in the past I have noted that some Dell Drivers can be corrupted, for e.g. when I tried to use the B57 Drivers from Dell Latitude D620 they wouldn't work, using the B57 Drivers from the Dell Optiplex 745 worked on both the Optiplex and the Latitude.

Could you also type out the exact message that comes up in Dos. i.e. is cannot load .dos or ?

Cheers
from where did you obtain th b44.dos drivers? and yes the one I have is 55kb 16-12-2005
error; could not find the driver
could not find any device the driver failed to load
is this driver for optiplex320?
the one I have is  R149798 optiplex 320
Can you also do a pciscan again using the following line
pciscan -v>OutPut.txt

and then post OutPut.txt information here.

Cheers
If you expand Network from your link above
Click Broadcom Driver
Click Other Versions
Click Broadcom 440x 10/100 Integrated Controller, v.v4.47, A16
You'll get R127295
i type in pciscan -v>OutPut.txt and it gives me abort?fail?retry
Sorry you're using CD aren't you?  Can you use USB Drive or a Floppy drive or alternatively just type out the output after pciscan -v
when I use the usb drive, I can not boot ino the mode to select shift=f5 command propmt to run the pciscan command, when I boot from the usb stick I get three option:boot to ghost, boot to hard drive restore or boot to dos
When you press F12 to boot from a device then select the USB Device press F8 straight afterwards, then select Shift F8 then select normal it will go through the process
ok fixed the issue for dell 320. now I want to ghost fujitsu tablet st series st5112 and I can t find the dos driver for the internet

Was the issue with the 320 corrupt driver?

You'll need to to a search for yuknd.dos you may have an old version that won't work with your card.
320 I had to look for the newest driver
Matrixnz,
I Tried To Image Dell Optiplex 320, The Driver Was Correclty Loaded and When I Click on Accept I did not see transfer Progress then suddenly I got an error, don't remmeber what It says and then when I reboot the optiplex 320 I recived " Disk error has occured Press Ctrl+Alt+Del " and could not do anything since, seems hard drive crashed !

do you have any idea what cause crashing hard drive.
Hi curioustoknow2007

No, however it seems you have a faulty hdd, recommend calling Dell and asking to replace the drive, I sincerely doubt it has anything to do with Ghost or anything you've done.

Cheers
this happened me several times when trying to ghost dell 320's, I did get brand new ones and when I ghost them , the transfer hang at 25% and when reboot I get disk read erro occured, I don't know if this has to do with the hard drive or with the image? But  the weired thing is that image .gho sometimes work sometimes hang.
