I'm ghosting about 10 HP DC7800s with Symantec Ghost v11.0.1.1533 Corporate (it's setup as a Ghost Server). These machines have the Intel 82566 Gigabit NIC card on them and I have the latest NDIS2 driver from intel's website (version 4.0.100.1124). I'm trying to pull the image by creating a pull task, both the server and the machine are on the same vlan and both are set to 100Mbs/Full Duplex in the BIOS. The process initiates fine but after about 10-15% complete it fails with the line "ABORT: 503, Connection timed out with GhostCode 19945". This seems to be a common problem as I'm seeing on a few other boards but I haven't really found a solution that works. I've defragmented both drivers and space is definatley not an issue. I'm positive i'm using the correct driver. I've had problems ghosting xw4400s before and it seemed to be a problem with the SATA drives and setting the Emulation in the bios, however the SATA drives on the 7800s are using IDE emulation so I don't know. Something weird I've also noticed is before it initiates it says "Autonoegotiated Speed/Duplex: 100Mbps Half Duplex"??? Anyway, can somebody please provide me with a solution other than using BartPE or a Bootdisk. Oh, I've also tried using the -fro switch with it and it just times out even quicker. Please help, thanks in advance.
