Ok, so heres the question - If you have a hard which is clearly failing with numerous bad sectors is there any reason to run HDD rengerator BEFORE taking the ghost image? I've found that I can turn on the "force clone" and "ignore bad cluster" switchs and ghost then seems to be able to plow right through all the bad sectors and still take the image sucessfully. I want to know if I should take the time to repair these sectors prior to taking the image. HDD regnerator often takes 1-2 days or more to run completely through which is obviously a lot of time to wait especially if it doesn't even really make much difference. If ghost is able to sucessully take an image with bad sectors and I then dump that image onto a brand new drive will that resolve the problem of all the bad sectors?
