I am currently looking at making a bootable media for a vista install. I have done this so many time with norton ghost and nero.
Now after seeing the new WIM for vista I figured I would give it a try I have setup my master install and what not and have a wim file that I want to use I wanted to know if there was away to roll out the wim on media like I did in the pass with norton and nero. Would like to know ppls tohughts on this
This is possible. You need to refer to the help file in the Windows AIK and create an autounattend.xml along with a catalog file to associate with your .wim. Once all is completed, you will be able to slip the autounattend.xml file into the wim file and create iso to burn to disc.
I have figured it out I haven't done it thought window imageing software i just upgrade to the next verison of norton ghost server and works fine thats for posting
