Installing new Hard drive; need to know how to create mirror image using old version of Ghost from Norton Systemworks 2002.

Asked by Mother_of_Computers in Norton Ghost Backup Software, Miscellaneous Hardware, Backup & Restore Software

I have a WD600 Hard Drive (that fails to boot up) but I can access it if I connect it up to another computer via USB to IDE cable.  I have a new Seagate hard drive in my computer to replace the nonbooting WD600 HD and need to create a mirror image of the WD600 onto the Seagate.  I have an old version of Ghost which is on a Norton Systemwoorks 2002 Disc.  How can I use what I have to mirror image my old drive to the new drive? I need to preseve the Win XP Pro OS and Windows Office Suite.   I read the instructions on how to use Norton Ghost and I still have no idea what to do...it's all Greek to me.   Can anyone please walk me through this re-imaging task step by step so I can get my computer up and running today?  I don't have to use Ghost if there is a better/easier way to do this.
