Image of D620 on a D820. Will it Work?

Hello Experts,

This might be a simple question. I need to reimage a Dell Latitude D820 with XP. In order to speed up the process, I have a D620 image that is practically clean. Since both laptops are similar in nature. I am curious if I can take the D620 image and place it on a D820. I know a few pieces of hardware may need updating such as video and network but curious if anyone has done it?
