I dont want to do a full backup every day. I am setting up a new job for incremental backup.

Browse All Topicswe bought a new external USB external hard disk and connected to Windows 2003 server. Disconnected the old smaller USB External hard disk. Deleted the scheduled backup jobs and created new backup jobs of type incremental to run every day. when i try to restore some files, I see only all the directories are present and no file was backed up. Any idea how to create a new backup job to backup all the files as well? I ran the wizared and I choose the whole of c:\ and it show all the files are selected. But during restore all the directories are empty.

Incremental backups will only back up changed files, as in changed that day since the last backup, so you wont back up files that have not been changed. If you want to back up everything in the folders, select full backups.
