Best Windows 2003 Backup software

Hello, I am looking for backup software that can create complete ISO from my hard drive so that in case something happen, I can use the iso to restore the system. This software should be able to create a bootable iso and basically exact copy of a hard drive. Also it should be bootable and able to restore without the program. My server is info is as follow.

- Windows 2003 Enterprise
- Primary hard drive is being mirrored to secondary hard drive.
- MS SQL 2005 Express, MySQL

Any recommandation will be helpful.

More information might be necessary.
Is there a tight budget?
Does this need to be an automated procedure?
Does it need to be a hot backup...the system can't be down for it?
How much data are you backing up? This will determine what kind of media is usable.
What hardware do you available? Do you have  a tape drive with enough capacity?

For No-system-down, fastest recovery, good budget, there is Symantec Backup Exec System Recovery Server Edition. It backs up the system (or more) to disk or tape. You can recover the local system or a remote system from bare-bones.

There is also the Symantec Backup Exec Intelligent Disaster Recovery option, in which you can backup to bootable tape. Instead of having to rebuild the OS back to your patch level and reinstall your backup software, it creates either bootable tape or bootable CD specific to your server, with all components needed to restore from tape, external HD, etc.

The Acronis Disk Image family is pretty well respected.

They specialize in having an image ready to restore either on the server or a different box.
I understand that it's some good software, but I don't have first hand experience with it.

There are several advantages of creating an image over the disk cloning procedure such as: you can create an image without rebooting your PC, image creation can be scheduled for the particular point in time, Acronis allows you to create incremental and differential images, image archive contains only the actual data and so it has a smaller size, images are ordinary files and so they can be stored on any type of the supported media, etc. There are several ways to back up your computer's hard drive, but generally it requires software and some place to put the data you're backing up CD, DVD, separate internal hard drive or external hard drive. When your hard drive fails or your computer starts experiencing some problem just restore the image in a single step that takes 5 - 10 minutes and you are right back where you started

A few words regarding Backups.

I have used the tried and often untrusted NTBackup (Free with the OS) for years. There are a few pit falls to be aware of but overall, when set well, it does the job to either tape or disk.
I use NovaBack for fully automated backups where I am regularly changing tapes and want a comprehensive report available.

For Tape libraries and large site I use CA systems Brightstor. Takes a bit to get it running but has all the features required for large capacity backups.
Acronis Drive Image is one I have been testing as I use most of the other Acronis tools. Good for cloning systems when you are changing server and the like.
