What is the proper syntax for removing all recovery points from DPM 2007? I don't even know how to list the datasources and subsequent recovery points.

I am learning this too, and modified a how-to that I found online. NOTE: Hit 'return' after each line.
In the DPM Management Shell:
1. To find the protection groups of a server, issue this command in the DPM shell:
$pgList = Get-ProtectionGroup YOURSERVERNAME
foreach($pg in $pgList){write-host $pg.FriendlyName}
The statement above will print out the list of protection groups on your DPM server. The first protection group should be referred to $pglist[0], the second one should be referred to as $pglist[1] and so on. Make note of these.
2. To find the data sources of protected server using $pglist[x] above (the volumes or share or object protected in the server):
$dslist = get-datasource $pglist[x]
(where x, obviously, is the protection group you want to query)
3. Check to see if you have more than one data source by issuing this command:
write-host $dslist.name
If you are not getting any output, that means there are multiple data sources, and you need to select which one you are going to use, by issuing the following command:
foreach($ds in $dslist){write-host $ds.name}
The first data source should be addressed as $dslist[0], the second $dslist[1] and so on.
4. Get the list of all recovery points for the data source you'd like to trim.
$rplist=get-recoverypoint $dslist[x]
foreach($rp in $rplist){write-host $rp.representedpointintime
Again, the first recovery point should be addressed as $rplist[0], the second $rplist[1], and so on.
5. Pick the recovery point you want to delete and delete them by issuing the following command:
remove-recoverypoint -recoverypoint $rplist[x]
To delete all, just substitute x for all recovery points you have. If you have 10 recovery points, you will issue this command 10 times, repacing x with 0, 1, 2... 9.

DPM 2007: new script repository
Adding PowerShell integration to this version of DPM is a big plus -- you can use DPM Management Shell to manage multiple DPM servers simultaneously, script oft-performed tasks, even do a few things that you can't do in the UI (such as removing recovery points).
