I don't believe so unless you were to copy all of your configs elsewhere then copy them back after you reinstalled the OS.

this is possible but it is realy dark magic with not very good results (my personal knowledge).
Better way is to migrate it by installing new system and than migrate settings.
You can do something like dpgk-get-selections, backupt /etc/ backup mysql via mysqldump and so on. Migration should be pretty easy if will think before. At all easier like doing this sort of dark magic with raid.

It is probably not possible without imaging your system then creating the array and laying the image down on top of the new array. There may be a RAID controller out there that will support a non destructive array build but I haven't used one personally.
