It can be changed - BUT - each Citrix server will need to have an outside IP address that you NAT to your inside IP address.

Browse All TopicsI do not wish to use CGS. I have one server, it is the web interface servera and the single citrix server. in this situation we don't not want to use VPN and we wish to access the server using pnagent from the outside.
I am able to authenticate, when i connect it tries to connect using the internal ip of hte citrix server. Can this be changed so that it connects to a FQDN? I tried to change it on the server session page but it does not seem to work. Can someone direct on how to get this working?:

I *think* you'll need to use CSG in order for this to work. But, I'm not sure that CSG supports PNAgent (it might, but I've never tried). CSG is free, too, you know - and it does SSL encryption, much more secure than blindly sending normal ICA traffic out onto the internet.
The reason, as you're seeing, is that the ICA files that come back aren't referencing the correct IP.
The only other option I can thinkg of would be to assign a public IP to the Citrix server, I think.. I don't know that you can pass an FQDN in an ICA file..
