How to rip Blu Ray Backups on a mac

I have a 2 year old daughter who we have purchased a lot of blu ray movies for and she keeps destroying them.  Is there a way to backup a blu ray movie on a mac? I don't want to do it boot camp or any other widows side of my system.  I understand mac's can't read blu rays right now, but I am assuming that will change at some point and would like to have all of these movies on my media based hard drive.
