Retrospect client running on Windows SBS server shuts down after reboot

Tags: emc, retrospect, 7.5.508
hey.. I am running windows SBS server, and have the retrospect client running on it.  Retrospect itself is running on my backup server.  I have noticed that after I reboot the SBS server, that night about half way through the exchange mailboxes backup, I get the error :

Scanning incomplete, error -3405 (unknown)
Can't access volume jonnydepp on sbs, error -541 (backup client not installed or not running)
Can't access volume arnoldschwartzenegger on sbs, error -541 (backup client not installed or not running).

To fix it I go into the services on the SBS server and stop and restart the retrospect client service.  then the client starts and seems to stay up.  this is important as this server has all of my user data and exchange on it, so just quitting half way through is not good.  I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the retrospect client. any ideas?
