The computer in which i used the device to back up work on, was replaced due to continual system malfunctions.
I did not use the one touch enough to think about the process of assigning a new computer for the device, and enough time
has now elapsed so the passwords have been traded for new information.
Is there anyway to enable the to a new computer device or to reset passwords on a new computer, without erasing all that i have stored within.
Any help would be grand,

According to the maxtor one-touch manual, there is no way to reset the password without formatting the drive.
