That's where I'm looking right now, but still am a bit lost as to what opt files should contain what. It is an active passive cluster.
What I did to this point is installed the client and configured it to backup the cluster. I then registered the resource in Cluster Admin and then created the scheduled service with my opt file on my q drive (cluster drive).
How would I add the local resources to be backed up at this point? If I chance my opt file on the c:\drive to clusternode no and clusterdisksonly yes like the guide says when I fire up the gui I can only see the local drive to backup. How would I control what needs to be backed up on cluster?
Or would it be better to uninstall every thing and start over? If so what steps should I take?
Install client.
Register local node with c:\progr....\tsm\baclient\
Create scheduled service for local node
Then configure the scheduled service for the clustered drives with the opt file on the q drive?
If so when firing up the gui can I see all my disks so I can configure the backup options or do I have to configure the backup options a different way?

I recently went through the same setup, assuming that it is an active/passive cluster. Follow the following directions from the client manual and it should go relatively smoothly.

When you install the client, it backs up the local files. You have to go through additional steps including creating additional schedulers, CAD's and opt files for each cluster group.
