Create Permanant Storage

Zones: Handhelds and PDAs, Tivoli Storage Manager

I am not sure this is the right area to post this question.

Is there a way to creater a permant storage folder where you can store data that will survive a hard reset, i understand because of the change to mobile 5.0 devices this is not a requirement as data is not lost liek it would be in previous 2003 / 2002 devices.

Any help would be much a appriceited
