Synology DR3

So i have just put in a new D207 into a business. Have set it up to backup on data changes, auto restart on computer restart. Only 2 major problems i have just discovered once a file has been needed.

1. It didn't start auto backup after restart.  The DR3 is set to auto load on start up, but how do i configure it to start backup?

2. Hasn't done a full backup or been monitoring without a user logged in constantly.  How do i tell it to do it on a server that no one uses. I am usually Logged off this machine.

I tried to register on the Synology boards, but my IP has been blocked for spam for some reason, another thing to investigate..

I am frustrated currently, any help would be grateful!
