How To Increase Space on Existing Raid 1?

Asked by murphyins in Computer Hard Drives, Hard Drives & Storage, Storage Technology

Tags: , ,

I currently have two HP Proliant Servers with Windows Server 2000 w/SP4 which are setup on the internal raid controller with two 9.1GB Hard drives in a raid 1 setup for redundancy. These machines are partitioned for some odd reason with 4GB on the primary partition for the OS and the rest of the space is on a secondary partition for misc. files and such. We are getting down to under 800mb free on both our C:\ and need to increase the space. How could I increase the space without reinstalling the OS? I know some information about raid arrays, but by all means have no knowlege of how to fix this situation or where to start.

Thanks in advance,
Scott
