Slow boot mup.sys new pc

Hey Experts,

i have a hp xw6600 pc, we purchased a SAS controller and HDD (15k rpm) and rebuilt the PC. Drivers and the OS is installed on the SAS HDD. We notice a slow boot up and a hang at mup.sys for about 30 seconds before it keeps loading windows. It seem's very fishy and not as fast as we would though it would have been.

Is there an potential issue with my pc or os it normal to hang at mup.sys with a SAS drive?
