I use to run on the cheap 4 raptors in an old emachine my son left behind. I pulled the cpu and memory and all I had to was to plug the 24 pin main connector into the board and wham;power to run my drives. So when I needed more raptors I bought a cheap new server rack enclosure with an old socket 370 board in it. I knew the board was old/new but I didn't care. I just wanted power and space to hang all seven of my drives. Well no wham. Unfortunately, it came with no manual. Figures. I tired using my old psu that had run the previous rigged array and nothing. I have even thrown a socket 370 celeron in it and added memory and nothing. The cmos battery is tested good. I plugged in all the little labeled wired coming from the panel in front. Nothing. Danged if I can find a model for the board. The board is based on an intel FW82443LX SL2KK. It has a rage pro turbo agp 215R3BJA33 on board video card. 440lx agp set. it has a crystal sound card CS4281-cm.
The skew number was(4) 304442-5017730 and it had what looked like 9UiSU3 94v-0 in one corner So can anyone identify this board model or have I done enough to know the board is fried? Or am I missing some dumb obvious point here? All I want is for the ps to throw power into my drives. Thanks
