70 GB Hard drive shows that it's full when there is only 20 of actual data on it

Hello there,

I have a user who just got a Thinkpad T61 that I configured using Lenovo's thinkpad setup utility. I didn't notice when this happened, but all of a sudden windows is showing that the hard drive is full (about 2% available). When I looked at it via the disk defragmenter analyzer, all the spaces that would normally be white in the graph shows as blue "contiguous files". I tried a FS check and a defrag, but neither made any difference. When I look at the folders separately, I see no abnormally large file or files. I also was going to use Acronis to image the disk, thinking that it would analyze the disk differently, but it also showed as being a full disk. Any suggestions as to at least how this might have happened?Start Free Trial
