I order Windows PCs for my company. All are for general-use computing, nothing fancy. All user files are stored on our file server, not the local HDs.
Is there any PRACTICAL reason for me to partition the hard drives? I usually set them up with a 250GB HD, not partitioned at all.
I know for a power-user computer, partitioning is a good idea, a little extra speed, etc.
But for general use, are there any real advantages to partitioning?
I've heard "yes" implied, but for the life of me I cannot see why.
thanks for any advice...
