its a SATA disk that you have bought. sry but wont fit - no adapter, its a different type of disk controller

Browse All TopicsI just bought a new drive for my laptop, and the pins do not fit my laptop connector. I have an adapter for the old drive, but it is different for the new drive. Attached are 3 pictures. Please look at the three pictures, and tell me where I can get an adapter for the new drive.

Old drive is a standard PATA with a standard enough adapter to connect to the nb. The new drive is a SATA. Sorry, I do not think you are going to get such an adapter for a notebook. You need to get change the new drive for a PATA and then the adapter you have will fit.
