Nope... no spin-up at all.

Trying to get data off of a Seagate Barracuda 7200.8 drive (200GB, model ST 3200826AS). I got an external enclosure for the drive and hooked it up, and get no response. No drive noise, no power lights on the enclosure -- nothing!
So, I tried putting it into my PC, disconnected my internal SATA drive, and connected the 200G drive... my machine won't even boot! I try disconnecting the drive, boots. No hard drive connected, still boots. Re-connect the 200G drive, won't boot.
Am I missing something? Any ideas why my drive won't boot?

Looks like the drive is bad. Did it try to spin-up in the desktop?
