Error sounds like your drivers are wrong.
But a question, do you upload the drivers from USB drive?
Here is a reference to your problem: http://en.community.dell.com/forums/t/19292579.aspx

Textsetup.oem is likely blank with that error message.  Try using another floppy disk...when you're done, open txtsetup.oem and make sure its not blank.  If it is blank, use another machine to make the driver disk.

Apart from trying other floppy disks, also try another floppy drive. If that doesn't help, try making yourself an XP CD with the drivers included. A good tool for that is nliteos:

External floppy drive connected via USB, right?
Try to use USB flash drive instead.

Did you try creating an XP CD with the driver included like I posted earlier?

by: noxchoPosted on 2009-10-21 at 01:18:14ID: 25621636

Then I see two ways here:
a) follow rindi's advice and create the CD with driver on it
b)Install XP onto single HDD, backup the install partition, build RAID and restore from image to it. Then use Adaptive Restore tool from Paragon to install the RAID drivers in boot CD menu.

slipstream worked but had problems copying a few files although I didn't do any hot fixes. I couldn't find out why.
