  • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. As a member of Experts Exchange, you are able to cast your vote on the quality of the solutions in regard to how complete, accurate, helpful and easy to understand each solution is. Free up Hdd Space but make it more trouble!!!

I would like to free up my HDD space, before that i want to burn all my stuff to a cd. As you know I would like to burn out 7Gigg stuff so I have to separate it to a few folder then only can burn it out. After i separate it, I try to open my file... suddenly my PC auto restart and after went to the windows, all my file is missing, i try to search by my file and folder name but could't find it. I try to open every folder also can't find my file, another thing is all my file is missing but my HDD space didn't deduct at all.. it still use my 7Gigg..

1. how can I find back my file?
if really cannot find back my file...
2. how can i free up my 7Gigg hdd space

My system requirement
PIII 866Mhz
512MB Ram
40Gigg HDD
Windows XP Home Edition.
