Browse All TopicsI'm looking at setting up a mirror RAID system using 3 hard drives. The First Hard Drive fixed into the system. The Second Hard Drive in a caddy in the system. The Third Hard Drive also in a caddy holder. I want to swap drive 2 and 3 around each week (ie store the bank up hard drive off site). Question. Once a hard drive is mirrored can you remove the disk and replace it with one that is not mirrored? If so will the RAID system automaticly mirror my first hard drvie onto my new hard drive? If this is all possible could you point me to a web page which details the setup for the above.
Thank you Sharkieshark.
