Browse All TopicsI have a HDD out of a Dell laptop (toshiba brand drive 30Gig) The drive was given to me because it is password protected and no one knows the password (dell laptop came from ebay in this condition). I put the HDD in my toshiba laptop and get a prompt to enter a password. I have no idea of the data that might be on the drive and don't care since the drive has passed through several hands and my friend gave it to me. I simply would like to salvage the drive as a spare since my toshiba uses the same drive but it is not worth really spending much money on.
