Browse All TopicsHi Experts, I just bought a 120GB HD (MAXTOR L01P120) and an enclosure for it just a week ago. I am using it for my home movies and my dvd backups. Today i left my computer for a little while and was not running any programs, games, applications etc., and when i got back and clicked on this harddrive it said "j:\is not accessible. The file or directory is corrupted and unreadable." I did place it in my PC to see if it could help but it didn't. Can i recover any of my files? Just had about 30 GB of large video files and hope i don't need to format the harddrive, or is this hard drive faulty? I am running windows XP sp1 if it helps. Hope this is enough info for your help. Thanks in advance!!!
