I am using the Asus P5wd2 mobo and have my SATA drives configured on a RAID0. The BIOS utility sees the harddrives, as well as the raid utility and the raid is setup fine. Windows begins the setup and hit good ole F6 to tell it I need to install some raid drivers. That window comes up and I install the drivers. Windows finishes doing its thing and as soon as it tries to start the actuall instalation I get the blue screen.
I've tried just about everything to get this to work. I disconected my rom drives and tried that. It Didn't work. Took my drives out of the raid and tried to install it on one drive. It Didnt work. Updated my Bios. It didn't work. I've never messed with SATA drives before and am beginnig to wish I stayed with SCSI. The only thing I can think of thats left is to purchase a newer version of XP that has the service packs on it. Does windows not recognize SATA drives until those later versions?
