Adaptec 2100s Raid question
Not sure if this is the correct forum but I'll post it here anyway since it has to do with my hard drive info as well.
Does the RAID information get saved to the HD's or is it in the card itself? I'm looking to setup a server (has the 2100s card installed) with different hard drives but I'd like the option of bringing up my old server if needed.
I'm assuming it's the HD's but just wanted to double check prior to losing my data.
