Windows 2003 Backup Utility Question!

Asked by woohah in Hard Drives & Storage

Tags: backup, 2003, windows

Is there a way to have the windows 2003 server backup utility to do a backup, but use the date as the backup job name so that I dont have to overwrite that file every day? Does anyone know of a program that will do this without me overwriting or appending? I am wanting to backup my small exchange server to an external hard drive and would love to have a program that would create a new backup job name as the date so that if I ever need a backup from a specific date, it will be there. Am I completely dumb for asking for something like this, or is this even feasible?Start Free Trial
