Types of Backup
I need help in understanding the different between Incremental Backup and Differential Backup. I would be grateful if an example can be provided for Incremental Backup and for Differential Backup.

I need some explanation on the Incremental Backup: If you do an incremental backup on Tuesday, you only back up the data that changed since the incremental backup on Monday.
For example, we have File A, B, C, D & E.
On Sunday a FULL Backup is done.
On Monday there are changes made to File B - as such, at the end of Monday only File B will be backed up.
On Tuesday changes are made to File C - so what gets backed up at this stage - considering that you only back up the data that changed since the incremental backup on Monday.

On tuesday only file c is backed up. A differential backup backs up files b and c on tuesday.
