NDMP Restores

Hi-
We have a Celerra NAS with about 3tb of data on it. Currently we use Veritas Netback for NDMP backups.
We need to set up an offsite DR site. Could we get a much less expensive NAS, run Windows Storage Server on it and then restore the production data to the new, lower end system?
