Virtual Server Partitions
Hiya,
We currently have a test environment which consists of 1 x HP Proliant DL380, 2 x 2.33ghz Processors, 4GB RAM, 144GB SAS HD's.
The Server is running Windows Server 2003 R2 64bit Enterprise and installed on top is Virtual Server 2005 R2 64bit and Microsoft SQL Server 2005 64bit.
The machine has 2 virtual servers both running Windows 2003 Stn R2, one has 30GB Hard disk, other has 40GB Hard disk. One used for SharePoint 2007 testing, other for Exchange 2003 integration. The virtual hard drives are fixed size, and partitioned. C - 12GB, D 18GB.
Now the C partition has run out of space, I have moved off all the stuff I can. There is 8GB Free on the D partition.
Hope that is not too much information.
Is there anyway to increase the hard disk and/or repartition the drive. We have a copy of Acronis, but I don't want to go ahead and try this, as it just doesn't seem feasible to me.
Has anyone had this issue or have any ideas? Don't really want to compress the drive.
Thanks in advance
