I cannot delete a corrupt file

When trying to delete a realplayer file I get the error message I have tried deleting it safe mode but get the same message. When trying to delete it from DOS it says that it cannot find the file. I have also tried running a chkdisk and this hasn't worked either. It gets to step 3 and says chkdsk cannot continue in read only mode. I have also tried Net File but I think Im doing this wrong because it gives me the error 5 error message.
