It has been emailing me almost every night while the backup process is running saying that a drive has failed and the array is degraded. When I log in and check, everything is fine.

I have several identical servers with identical controllers and drives but it only happens on this one server. It usually reports device ID 4 has failed, but sometimes it's other drives.
Is it a bad controller, cable, drives, software?
