I have run full spyware and virus scans, in case it's a trojan. All clean. He has Norton 360 installed.
His machine has been runing increasingly slow and other s/w problems. I think I've managed to clean it up (the usual CCleaner, Safety Live, Spybot, Ad-aware, windows updates, and suchlike)
I suspect it's a hardware fault (I've yet to open the machine up), but has anyone any ideas if it is software or O/S related?
