Arcserve 2000 - Database Size

Asked by stevendunne in Hard Drives & Storage

Hi,

My database folder under Progam files\Arcserve is over 7GB in size.  I've got over 2,500 objects in this folder.  My backup job is backing up around 50Gb of data from various servers.

These are the main file size.

Astpsdat.000    1GB
Astpsdat.001    721mb
Astpsdat.001    498mb

Then I have a load of .chg files of 1.9mb each.

Whats the best way of reducing the database size safely from your experience ?

Can I just go into Arcserve, then into Database and start removing some of the old media & job records from here ?

Thanks again
Steve
