How can I remove the write protection on my PNY Technologies 2 GB SD card

I have a PNY Technologies 2 GB SD card that has files on it that I don't need. However, when I try to delete them or reformat the card, I get a warning that the card is write protected. I've tried it with the "Lock" pin in both positions and get the same message each time. I can access the files (see them in My Computer and open them), but can't delete or cut them off the card. I have a hard time believing that the card is defective. Any ideas?Start Free Trial
