Punky, thank you, but neither of those appear to have an integrated audible alarm, which means I can't them for this particular project.

Browse All TopicsI am setting up a pfSense firewall and I'd like to use RAID. pfSense is a trimmed down Linux distro so I don't have all the options of installing management interfaces for RAID cards. So, I am interested in using a RAID card that has an audible alarm.
Can anyone recommend a SATA, IDE, or SCSI RAID card that will support two drives in RAID 1 that is around $300 or less?
I found this Supermicro card AOC-LPZCR1 which has a connector from the card to the motherboard buzzer, but it is a ZCR card and I haven't seen anything that indicates this might work with pfSense.
