Dell DataSafe RAID array showed as degraded - how can I tell if it is working properly

Some time ago when rebooting my PC I noticed a message about RAID array degraded. I have a Dell Dimension E521 desktop equiped with DataSafe Secured Storage and Data Recovery Solution. After poking around a bit I went into the media shield software and under the details saw 'particians f and g' and system tasks 'delete array' I did that then rebooted and the array rebuilt.

For a period of time while the array was degraded I was seeing (in MyComputer) an f drive and a g drive which I assume was the second 'mirrored' hard drive but it was not up to date.  After the array rebuilt I no longer see the f/g drive.  Documentation from Dell is basically non existant about what my system had originally and I am not familiar with RAID arrays so now I am not sure if the rebuild corrected itself and everything is good again.  How can I check to see that the second hard drive is a mirror of the c/d drive and if it is working correctly?Start Free Trial
