You need to refer to the NS42 cabling guide which you can download from http://powerlink.emc.com. Go to Support - Technical Documentation and Advisories - Hardware/Platforms Documentation - Celerra Network Server - Installation/Configuration. Scroll down until you find the guide for the NS42 - note that there are two different guide depending on the hardware specifics. The NS42 blades connect directly to the underlying storage processors and the control blade connects via ethernet.
