NetApp FAS2050 AD integration for Web Administration Console

I would like to know if I need to have a license for CIFS to be able to use Active Directory as my login authentication for the web console or system console?  http://server/na_admin

But first, take a look at page 101 of http://now.netapp.com/NOW/knowledge/docs/ontap/rel7311/pdfs/ontap/sysadmin.pdf - it tells you how to integrate the filer with AD.
