Thecus N8800 suitable for VMware virtualisation?

Anyone know if the Thecus N8800 nas box is compatible with VMWare?
We've not got a lot of servers, but I'd prefer to have 2 sveres with VMWare and shared storage
The thecus box takes 8 drives (upto 2Tb tb each) and does Raid 5,6,10 etc
Also has dual PSU and load balancing dual NICS.

Seems like a good bit of kit and got rave review (1/10) at storagedepot.

To me the equalogic and such like are far too pricey.

any issci device should work just fine with esx as they work thru ip network

I did not ask the question will any ISCSI device work.
I'm happy to close the question it doesnt have to be deleted.

Thecus came back to me. V4 has not been tested with it, but Version 3 has.

You can always use NFS as an alternative to iscsi :)
