Browse All TopicsI currently have a DS300 iSCSI SAN connected to an old and dying server via iSCSI initiator interface card. I also use ServeRAID manager to manage the RAID 5. I need to change the old server out and do not want problems with the RAID 5 on the enclosure. Can you confirm that the RAID 5 will remain intact when I move the SANS to the new server with a new iSCSI initiator interface?

Yes it will move fine but I would make sure that you have the more current version of ServerRaid Manager installed and you backup the settings for the iSCSI SAN so you can get in right away to reconfire the new ip addresses.
