I have a Thecus N3200PRO NAS configured on WIndows 2008 AD. It has been working reasonably well until recently when I could no longer access two shared folders. When I click on drive maps I am getting an error:
Microsoft WIndows Network: This server's clock is not synchronized with the primary domain controllers clock.
This connection has not been restored.
The NAS is not configured with a time server, I have checked the time and it's close to what the win2008 server is and in the past I have had no issues by setting it manually.
Recently the time was automatically changed on our win2008 server to account for daylight saving and I suspect this p may be related to my problem?
I would appreciate suggestions in dealing with this problem which is quite urgent since backups a directed to NAS.

Check the date as well. I ran into a problem where a user had changed the time on their computer but had accidently set the year to be one year back. After that she had no access to domain resources. The date and time in a domain has to be within a short period although I don't remember exactly how much of a difference is allowed. It's something like 10 minutes or less, I believe.

Have you verified that the NAS and the DC are in the same Time Zone?
Have you tried enabling NTP on the NAS Device?
