CA Security Component Update software conflicting with Microsoft Auto Updates

Hi,
I have installed CA Antivirus 2008 on numerous pcs and am now experiencing terrible problems with SVCHOST maxing out at 100% CPU.  After hours of troubleshooting i managed to ascertain that if i killed the WUAUCLT.exe process then everything was fine and i would receive a message saying the Computer Associates Security Component update was completed successfully. The short term fix i have found is to disable the Automatic Update service. Does anyone know how i can get the two working in harmony please?Start Free Trial
